West Midlands Police looking for “extremely motivated” 999 operators

Could you be a 999 or 101 call operator for the local police?

West Midlands Police is looking for “extremely motivated” professionals who can “take control and give reassurance” when answering urgent calls on behalf of the police.

The call handler jobs are available at police HQ in Lloyd House in Birmingham or at West Bromwich Police Station.

Other locations are available for dispatchers, including Willenhall.

“If you would like to be at the exciting and invigorating frontline of policing and enjoy a varied week, where no two days are the same, then this could be the job for you,” police said.

“You will work within a friendly inclusive team of professionals who work together to deliver an excellent service.”

The salary ranges from £19,521 to £24,030, plus Shift Allowances where relevant.
