Wasps seal Premiership top spot after weekend win over Saracens

Wasps have taken the top spot in the Aviva Premiership this weekend following a decisive 35-15 win over the London Saracens.

The match, which took place at the Ricoh on Saturday, saw Wasps star Thomas Young score a hat trick of tries.

Christian Wade and Elliot Daly also scored.

“That win will do us a world of good. Finishing top is a major achievement and we’re happy with that. We were the better team but they could have won. Saracens take some shifting,” said Dai Young, who is Director of Rugby at Wasps – and Thomas’ dad.
