Volunteers wanted for Tudor-themed spring clean in Spon End this weekend

Volunteers at the Weaver’s House, a medieval restoration project in Spon End, need your help tidying up before tourists begin arriving.

A spring clean has been organised to take place this Saturday (25th March).

“Any plans for Saturday? We need some help!” organisers said.

“If you can spare 30 mins or a couple of hours we’d be more than grateful for your help with a spot of spring cleaning!

“We are getting ready for our first full open day of the season on April 8th where we will be celebrating Easter and we’ll have Tudor games a-plenty (plus cake!),” they added.

If you are available, please call 024 7625 7117 or email volunteers@theweavershouse.org for more information.

The house and garden is open to the public on the day of the clean, but no tours will be available.
