Robbie Williams criticised after “bad taste” Keresley bus crash tweet

Robbie Williams has been criticised for a “bad taste” joke on social networking site Twitter following yesterday’s bus crash in Keresley.

The singer tweeted a photo of the crash alongside the caption “Welcome to The Heavy Entertainment Show Coventry; see you 13th June x” – a reference to the name of his tour, which has a stop at the Ricoh in a few months.

The post received over 2,000 likes.

One user, Angelina Chickeline, replied: “v bad taste Robbie. Hope you visit the family when you’re in Coventry and offer some help. Thank god they’re all ok.”

But Debbie Berrow simply wrote: “bahahaha that’s a bit naughty!!!”
