Police have called off a manhunt for an armed robber who targeted a branch of Coventry Building Society this morning.

The incident took place at the branch on Barker’s Butts Lane this morning.

“Police were called to Coventry Building Society in Barker’s Butts Lane, Coundon, just before 10am this morning to a report of a robbery,” said West Midlands Police.
