Plans for luxury flats and private park on Corporation Street unveiled

Take a look at the plans unveiled for the restoration of the old Co-op Building on Corporation Street.

The project, costing £15m, is set to provide space for new shops, flats, a car park and more.

EDG Property, which is also behind the Mailbox in Birmingham, said that once built the flats will be “highest-specification, private sale apartments the city centre has seen.”

Large parts of the 140,000 sq ft site, which will be called The Co-operative, will be private.

It will feature a members area and a park for the exclusive use of residents.
