New Assistant Chief Constable appointed at West Midlands Police

A new Assistant Chief Constable at the regional police force will soon take office, West Midlands Police has announced.

Sarah Boycott spent two years in New York working for the United Nations, and has also been a Deputy Programme Director at Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary.

She will leave her current role as temporary Assistant Chief Constable with Cheshire Constabulary to come to the area.

“The West Midlands is a challenging and complex environment and I’m looking forward to joining the team and meeting the challenges that come from unexpected incidents,” she said.
