The accident took place near the Griff Caravan site and the man died at the scene. He was travelling on his blue Suzuki GSXR 1000 motorbike when he collided with a bronze-coloured Renault Kangoo car.

A woman in her 30s was driving the car and taken to the hospital soon after the accident. West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the scene around 7:35pm at reports of a crash on the A444, close to the Griff Roundabout.

“The man was found to be in cardiac arrest. Unfortunately it quickly became apparent that nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene,” a spokesman for the West Midlands Ambulance Service said.

“The woman, believed to be in her 30s, was treated for a leg injury and a minor cut to the head. She was then transported to University hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further assessment.”

Warwickshire Police are looking for witnesses of the crash to come forward. This includes anyone that saw either of the vehicles and the manner in which they were being driven before the crash.
