Man arrested on suspicion of drug possession after M6 crash

A man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs after a crash on the M6 yesterday (Sunday).

The collision occurred less than a mile from Corley service station on the southbound carriageway.

The crash, which took place around 5.15pm, involved a green Vauxhall Corsa and a white Mercedes lorry.

“A 20-year-old man from Birmingham was arrested on suspicious of possession of drugs and was later released under investigation,” said a spokesperson for Warwickshire Police.

West Midlands Ambulance Service also attended.
