“Major improvement necessary”: Coventry restaurant hit with 1 star hygiene rating

A Coventry restaurant has been given a hygiene rating of 1 – the second-lowest ranking possible.

Cosmo, on Corporation Street, was told “major improvement” was needed in the management of food safety.

“Improvement [is] necessary” for food handling, which includes preparation, cooking and storage.

Improvement was also required for cleanliness and condition of the facilities and building.

The inspection took place on March 15th.
