Investigation launched after man stabbed in Earlsdon

Police have launched an investigation after a 21-year-old man was found stabbed in Earlsdon yesterday (11th June).

West Midlands Ambulance Service called police at around 1.50am following reports of a man who had sustained serious injuries on the car park of The Butts BP service station.

The victim sadly remains in a critical condition in hospital. The garage remains cordoned off.

“We are investigating several significant lines of enquiry and continue to search for the suspect,” said Detective Inspector Justin Spanner, from the force’s CID.

“My officers are also trawling nearby CCTV to establish any clues that will help the investigation.

“The family of the man have been informed and are being liaised with by specialist officers.

“If anyone was in the area at the time and can help the investigation then please contact me or one of my team.”
