Herbert Museum announces full programme of family fun for Easter

Stuck for ideas on where to take your kids this Easter?

There are lots of workshops taking place at the Herbert Museum in the city centre over the season.

“Experiment with a different activity every day inspired by artworks from our portraits exhibition; including clay sculptures, royal crowns, dancing dolls and print-making!” organisers said.

On Wednesday 19th, there’s a “Music Movers” event where your kids can “take inspiration from the musical masters in our Face to Face exhibition” and come home with their “very own battery powered dancing figure”.

You don’t need to book and it costs £2 per child per workshop.

Most events are suitable for ages 3+, but all are welcome: under 2s go for free.

The workshops begin at 10.30am and end at 3.30pm.

The workshops begin on April 8th (this Saturday) and end on the 22nd, and there are no events on Sundays. For the full list of events, click here.
