Forecasters predict snow in Coventry next week

The lead forecaster at Bablake Weather Station, Steve Jackson, has predicted snowfall and sleet for Coventry next week.

On Wednesday morning, Jackson posted on Twitter: “Believe it or not, there is some transient sleet & snow in the forecast for our region next week as it turns cooler!”

The weather is expected to take a downturn this weekend in contrast to the sunny spells today (Wednesday 15), which may bring sleet and snow.

The Met Office are expecting wet and windy conditions on Friday 17 with heavy rain.

Minimum temperatures are expected to decrease from 10ºC on Saturday to just above the freezing mark on Tuesday 21, according to the Met Office’s five-day report.

All forecasters are subject to change.
