Earlsdon pub The Albany back on the market after closing down

A second chance for a much-loved Earlsdon pub which closed last month could be on the cards.

The Albany is up for rent via Coventry estate agents Loveitts, and they say on their site that it is “ready for immediate occupation”.

The firm describes the pub as a “substantial traditional two storey brick built character public house property beneath a pitched roof with extensive trading areas and storage accommodation.”

It also contains a three-bed managers flat above.

The pub originally closed because the Marston’s Brewery’s lease ran out. The new asking price is £40,000 a year.

The new tenants will be subject to a number of conditions.

“Incoming tenant to pay all reasonable legal costs in respect of the transaction, including Stamp Duty and VAT, if applicable, and apply for their own premises licence,” Loveitts added.
