Coventry’s two-day Gin Festival

A gin festival is coming to Coventry Cathedral on Friday May 19 to Saturday May 20 this summer.

The world’s finest gin is hoped to be on offer at the event created by GinFestival.com. The website was formed in 2013

by husband and wife, Jym and Marie Harris, who also created the festivals.

At the festival everyone is welcome to learn, drink and experiment with new spirits.

The programme for the festival follows:

Friday 19 May 2017 – Evening Session – 6.30pm – 11pm
Saturday 20 May 2017 – Afternoon Session – 12.30pm – 5pm
Saturday 20 May 2017 – Evening Session – 18.30pm – 11pm

“Gin is revelling in its current popularity, and it’s a pleasure to be bringing a part of that to people in Coventry,” co-founder Jym Harris said.

Last April, Coventry had its first Gin and Sonic festival in FarGo village. The event also brought live music, DJs and food market stalls as well as quality gin.
