Coventry rated 39th best student city in the world

Coventry has been rated as the 39th best city for students in the world.

Collectively, both the universities of Coventry and Warwick comprise around 6.4% of the city’s population, with around 41% of enrolments coming from international students.

The city was rated on the basis of the many attractions available, ranging from the art galleries and cinema of Warwick Arts Centre to the large venue of the Ricoh Arena and the Transport Museum.

This rating comes alongside high favourability from employers, many of whom are attracted to the course dedicated to automotive design at Coventry and the work of the Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) at Warwick.

When asked for the highlight of living in Coventry, one respondent noted the ‘ease of access in walking to places [and] friendliness of student community.’
