Coventry pays respect to victims of Manchester bombing

A vigil for the victims of the Manchester bombing took place in Coventry city centre on Tuesday evening.

A crowd gathered outside Coventry’s council house in respect for the 22 victims killed in the attack at singer Ariana Grande’s concert on Monday night.

“[We must turn] the rage we all feel…to prayer because to do anything else with it would be only to allow the perpetrators the victory they aim for,” the Bishop of Coventry, Christopher Cocksworth said.
