Coventry born author Julia Stagg is returning for a charitable book-signing event on Saturday 8 April at The Big comfy Bookshop in Fargo Village to celebrate the release of her sixth novel.
The author will be hosting an evening of live music with books at the event. All profits from the event will go to a chosen charity in partnership with the book shop.
Stagg is a former pupil at the Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School and now lives in Yorkshire. She will be signing copies of her latest book ‘Dates with Death’.
“This will be the first signing of my new book in the Midlands, so it only seemed right that I held the event in Coventry where my love of writing began,” Stagg said.
“Date with Death is the first story in my second series of books.”
“It is a light-hearted cosy crime novel set in a fictional town in the Yorkshire Dales.”
“I have always enjoyed writing ever since I was in school, and I had a number of supportive teachers at Cardinal Wiseman which helped give me the confidence to get where I am today.”
“Fargo Village is a wonderfully creative area and I would like to thank The Big Comfy Bookshop for hosting the event.”
“I look forward to choosing a local charity with them which will benefit from the profits made from my book on the night.”
Copies of Dates with Death will be available for £5.
