If you’re travelling by train to Wembley on Sunday, here’s the low-down on how to get there using Chiltern Railways.

“Chiltern Railways will be providing an enhanced high-capacity train service, where all trains that run between Warwick Parkway, Leamington Spa, Banbury, Bicester, Oxford Parkway and Oxford will call at Wembley before and after the game,” the firm says.

Those travelling from Coventry are asked to use Warwick Parkway station.

High-capacity trains from here will run at: 08.49, 09.02, 09.17, 09.39, 10.05, 10.17, 10.43, 10.54, 11.18, 11.41, 12.16 and 12.39. These trains will call at Wembley.

You can get a Super Off peak ticket between Warwick Parkway and Wembley for £29.50.

“Tickets purchased in advance for travel to Wembley Stadium before the match, and back again afterwards, will be valid on any train to Wembley during the period 07.30 to 14.30 and any train back from Wembley after 16.00. This is irrespective of any tickets purchased for specific trains,” Chiltern added.

“Please ensure you buy/collect your tickets before the day of travel. If you get a print at home ticket you will need to print this before getting to the station.

“As we are expecting several thousand fans to travel with us, please note that queuing systems and additional staff will be in place at key stations, in order to ensure efficient boarding of trains”
