Anger over mess left in the river at Lake View Park

Residents have reacted with anger to photographs claiming to show large amounts of mess and waste left in Lake View Park.

The photos, published on the Spotted: Coventry City page, show large bin bags, broken pieces of wooden furniture and a large door floating in the River Sherbourne.

“The grass is ruined,” said the poster.

“After 30 years of living here I’ve never seen so much mess and waste.

“The ground is ruined, it’ll cost the council hundreds to fix,” they added.
